WHAT IS THE ATMOSPHERE?

The atmosphere is the layer of gas that surrounds Earth. It is often called air. Other planets, and some of their larger moons, also have atmospheres.

The atmosphere consists of several different gases. The gases are held close to Earth by a force called gravity. Near Earth’s surface, the atmosphere is about three fourths nitrogen and one fifth oxygen. At higher elevations, the atmosphere is mostly hydrogen and helium.

But how an atmosphere is formed? And... the moon is in the atmosphere or outside of it? Can you investigate and tell me?

La atmósfera es la capa de gas que rodea la Tierra. A menudo es llamada aire. Otros planetas, y algunas de sus lunas más grandes, también tienen atmósferas.

La atmósfera está hecha muchos gases diferentes. Los gases están mantenidos cerca de la Tierra por una fuera que se llama gravedad. Cerca de la superficie de la Tierra, la atmósfera está formada por tres cuartas partes de nitrógeno y una quinta parte de oxígeno. A más altura, la atmósfera está compuesta mayormente de hidrógeno y helio.

Pero, ¿cómo se forma una atmósfera? Y... ¿la luna está dentro de la atmósfera o fuera de ella? ¿Podéis investigar y contármelo?
