STRATOSPHERE JUMP!

I leave you here a video of Felix Baumgartner who in 2012 jumped since... the stratosphere!!

Do you remember what is the stratosphere?

The stratosphere is the second layer of the atmosphere. It extends from 8 km to 50 km (more or less). In the stratosphere, the temperature rises with increasing height. This makes the stratosphere very stable. This temperature is caused by the ozone layer which absorbs some UV rays from sunlight.

¿Os acordáis de lo que es la estratosfera?

La estratosfera es la segunda capa de la atmósfera. Se extiende desde los 8 kilómetros hasta los 50 (más o menos). En la estratosfera, la temperatura sube cuanto más subimos. Esto hace que la estratosfera sea muy estable. Esta temperatura es causada por la capa de ozono que absorbe algunos rayos ultravioleta del Sol.
